I spend a lot of time listening to LiveATC archives, and it's insanely satisfying for me to figure out mumbled waypoints, obscure local airfields, or aircraft models that I can't catch from the audio alone. I built an extension that fetches from flightaware and other databases to speed the research up. It uses free sources so isn't monetized in any way.

How it works:

Open a LiveATC archive audio clip and click the extension to pull the date, time, and airport directly from the filename.

Click 'ADSB' to launch the exact ADSB Exchange radar replay for that specific timestamp and airport. Select an aircraft on the map to instantly populate its callsign into Froyo (or type it in directly if you heard it clearly).

Fetch to pull the full FlightAware IFR Route Analyzer path, registration info, and airframe history right into your sidebar or switch to a minimizable pop-out overlay.

I like to listen to LiveATC archives and see what recorded details are available about the flights on air. Was curious why the Quebec routes/airways seemed to be replaced by strings of waypoints in this instance. I would have thought clearance delivery would match the filed route to a T.
