Relief after cutting tiggers?

Hi all,

TLDR: I’m wondering how long after cutting a trigger food I can expect to feel relief.

I’ve been dealing with worsening reflux and heartburn for months. At first, it would only pop up during the evenings and was a minor inconvenience. Now, it’s almost constant. I take digestive supplements before every meal, papaya enzymes after every meal, and tums when it’s really bad. It’s still getting worse. I can’t connect it to any specific food since it’s so constant, so I’m trying eliminating the foods I eat most often to see if anything helps. I usually eat a big bowl of oatmeal topped with fruit and nuts every day for breakfast, so I’ve stopped for a few days that in case it’s the oats or nuts. No change so far. So I’m wondering, if any of you have had a similar experience, how long did it take after you cut out a trigger food for you to feel relief and realize that it WAS the trigger?
Note- I already avoid gluten, egg, peanuts, and pork.
