my girl has the worst allergies known to man
her skin looks like this year round. she’s on apoquel and takes zyrtex and benadryl regularly. she’s on hydrolyzed diet. it just gets worse and worse. she ran out of apoquel last week and had to wait a few days before getting more, and her paws are just torn up. its so frustrating. she just finished a course of antibiotics two weeks ago but she already has another infection. going to the vet tomorrow.
idk what else to do. i wish this stuff would just go away.

I’m graduating next year and will have $275k in loans (undergrad + masters + JD). I already know that I want to get out of debt as much as possible. I’ve always been opposed to public service roles bc I used to work in public schools and I’m tired of those spaces, but for my amount of loan debt it might make sense to consider that route. I was thinking to do 4 years as a JAG right after grad, and then maybe government or public university for 6 years.
My other plan is to get into Big Law and slave away for 5 years while paying my loans down to something reasonable and building a savings, then moving in-house.
Ultimately, I do want to work as in-house counsel. I’d like to hear constructive thoughts and opinions, or if anyone has been able to make a situation like mine work.
