Brand new, only tried on and knew immediately the upper wouldn't work for me. Purchased from another hobby jogger so I can't return them. $135 shipped to the lower 48!

Garage door is about ~6 years old, noticed this yesterday. Screws are quite loose where this bracket meets the inside panel of the door.
Can this be fixed with either a thicker screw, or alternative placement of this bracket? Thanks for any help.
