Nerve sheath tumor on sciatic nerve

Has anyone experienced this rare situation? He goes into surgery tomorrow, they are hoping to remove it, or take some of it, or unfortunately it might be too entangled in the nerves. What can we expect for the recovery and healing process? I’m worried he will not be able to walk again, or do anything physical again. He is 51 years old, very fit and always moving around. Thank you.

I have any ankle injury and the academy starts in July

I sprained my ankle March 7th during my PAT exam, and I still passed.

Over the few weeks I’ve been working on it and the sprain has healed, but I recently got an MRI which showed a peroneus brevis split tear.

I see a doctor Tuesday to determine if I need surgery or let it heal on its own with PT and rest.

Has anyone had an issue with this before or does anyone know if I’ll be able to do the July academy?

Im over thinking that I won’t ever get to be a police officer and do my passion.
