Very glad I started on this when I did, I have officially gone from Obese to Overweight BMI.

I started at 2.5mg March 17th, then went up to 5mg on April 25th. The plan was for me to go up to a 7.5mg maintenance dose after 12 weeks but I've been responding so well at the 5mg dose (losing 1-2lbs a week) I asked my doctor if it was fine to stay at that for a while.

The biggest side effect I'm having is major GI issues if I drink alcohol, basically my tolerance has gone way way down. I'm not sure how much of that is drug and how much of that is the change in diet. I can have a beer occasionally but sugary liquor drinks are basically non-starters, I'll get sick after just a few sips.

It's a little bit of a bummer honestly but in some ways, it's been good for me too. Drinking way less alcohol is probably a huge part of why I'm losing so much weight on the drug. Never thought I was an alcoholic, but maybe I didn't realize just how much I was needing a drink after work.

The biggest negative is the cost, as I'm sure you all are familiar with. I'm having to go a non-insurance route and my copay is $250, which works out to $277.04 a month with needles+delivery. (It was $150/174.43 on the 2.5mg). To be honest, that's part of why I didn't want to ramp up to the 7.5mg dose because the pharmacy has been a little opaque about the cost.

Either way, I'm looking better and feeling better. Got my physical in September, hoping to keep making progress until then!

I'm looking for something in the vein of Inaba from Persona 4 or Revachol in Disco Elysium. A world where shops are going out of business and getting boarded up, the sky is overcast, NPCs are sitting around aimlessly with nothing to do, there's a mystery to be solved but nobody really cares. Preferably not a horror game like Silent Hill; ideally an RPG but a point and click detective game would be fine too. Just feeling moody about my life and my city and wanting something that will hit like Persona 4 and Disco Elysiun did.
