Is Warframe good/worth it?

What are everyone’s thoughts on warframe.

I played it years ago and am now considering playing it again, but I don’t know if it’s worth it, is it too grindy or maybe too complex of a game?

I do live pve games similar to that but I still am not sure.

RTS that doesn’t feel plastic and lame?

Every RTS I’ve seen and played so far always feels fake and plastic. Bullets have no real power or ballistics, explosions feel lame and only kill the units they directly land on. Minimal environmental destruction.
If someone can recommend something that has the following that would be amazing.

Environmental destruction that actually matters.

Real ballistics and physics, so everything doesn’t feel floaty and plastic.

Good sound design and visual effects. I want bullets to feel deadly, kick up dirt, chip concrete. Hear the panic of soldiers in combat. Listen to the distant gunshots, and the weight of tanks rolling by. See the details of the war machines I deploy.

Satisfying game design. No artillery strikes that only damage the exact unit they land on, even with a massive explosion effect.
And real, meaningful, tactical decisions. I hate feeling like I’m just playing rock, paper, scissors.

And an interesting story line and meaningful stakes would be a plus. Feeling like I’m actually fighting for something that matters.

What games would I love based off of this?

Hey everyone, I’ve been trying to figure out my gaming taste.

I’ve absolutely loved The Last of Us, Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V. These are my top 3 games so far that I have completed.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, I did like, even though it sometimes got a bit overwhelming with all the systems and upgrades or lore.

On the other hand, I’ve struggled with puzzle-heavy or way too lore heavy games. I absolutely hate souls-like games. They are like a punishment. I cannot play them no matter how good the story may be.

I think I just prefer cinematic, story-driven games that keep a strong flow without too many systems, menus, or puzzles slowing things down. When I have to manage builds, characters upgrades, or figure out too many clues, I tend to lose interest.

What games do you think I would love playing based off of my current choices?

Animal crossing
Basically I like chill, exploration, puzzles and a good story, if anything comes to mind let me know cause idk where to start
I’m willing to try something new but don’t have that pro gamer skill so would prefer something not too challenging/skill based

Looking for games with frequent dopamine

I have adhd and am looking for games that give constant dopamine hits. Less in the sense of winning games, but more in the sense of frequently collecting cool stuff without having to pay extra money for it (so no paid gacha games like genshin or things like cs2 where you need to pay to get stuff frequent)

Games with a lot of customization

Looking for a game that has a ton of customization, for outfits, roleplaying, combat, weapons etc. It doesnt have to be ALL of these categories, if a game has a ridiculous amount of just one thing thats fine. We all know about elder scrolls, fallout, and obsidian's games like outer worlds and pillars of eternity. I'm really wondering if there's some blindspot for a game series i dont know about thats known for being able to make WHATEVER character you want, and how you want them to look

It could be western, eastern, single player, mmo or whatever

Preferably some kind of fantasy or scifi action/rpg

I tried the code vein demo thinking it was going to have a ton of customization but it just doesnt, same with baldurs gate 3, though i havent tried baldurs gate 2. Someone will suggest borderlands and ive also already tried playing those, theyre not for me.

Maybe final fantasy 14? Or dragon's dogma 2. The pathfinder games?

I'm having confusion in choosing any game to play.

I'll call myself a noob gamer because I got my gaming laptop 8 months ago and I've only completed 2 games so far. Now y'all gon judge me and that's okay but those two games are GTA-5 and RDR2. Go ahead lol. Anyways, I tried playing Silent Hill F recently and couldn't even dare to walk a few steps in it due to my fear of horror genre. Yes. I'm not made for horror games. I tried playing Ghost of Tsushima, it had fabulous graphics, but somewhere around the story I felt pretty bored. Like really fucking bored playing it. So I deleted it as well. Whenever I look for games to play, I end up believing that there are no games for me to stick to. I know there can be if I try. But it takes time downloading. I look for a story rich game without swords if possible. Sword fighting seems boring to me, sorry. I enjoyed playing Forza Horizon 5 though.

Currently I'm looking to install The Last Of Us Part 1 as it is a story rich game with guns. About guns, I love playing games that include guns. I think I should also give the Far Cry series a try? People have also suggested me Uncharted and Resident Evil though. Not to forget, Cyberpunk 2077 as well. What should I do y'all?

PVE games with a low skill ceiling

I normally play turn based RPG’s because I have terrible reaction times. Are there any PVE’s that are fun and not too hard to pick up?

Looking for games that can help me to enjoy the single player experience again

I currently have a ps5 and a switch 2. I've also owned an xsx and a pc a couple of years ago. I haven't completed a single player game since the last of us on PS4 in 2015. 95% of my gaming has been online since the Xbox 360 days.

I've tried a bunch of games from AAA to indie. Either they don't interest me enough to start, I lose interest in them, get frustrated with difficulty (i.e. Sekiro), or I have to start from the beginning due to platform change (i.e. rdr2 and metro exodus).

During the past few years, I've started to suspect I have ADHD, which I've started the process of getting a diagnosis for with the help of weekly therapy. I also have struggled with depression for the past 10 years.

I'm hyped for GTA 6, curious about fable, and Pokémon wind/waves. Even then, I don't know how much I'll end up playing.

I dunno if it's just my mental health, or having to accept that my interest in single players just isn't there for the most part anymore. Online games can lose my interest too.

Father son fps game suggestions

Hey there

So my kids love playing games together with me. They got me to play fortnite with them and while I have fun playing with them and love it too ... I just don't care for it. But I love playing with them so I get just as excited to play it together like they do for them ... And the joy I see them have when we play it together and talking strategy while playing and all is great. They are 7 and almost 10.

One kid uses an Xbox. Another uses switch 2. I use a PS5 so it's nice we each have a console and fortnite is cross play.

Can anyone recommend a fps game for us to try? Free to play and cross play between consoles. Even if it's only. Between Xbox and PlayStation. Fortnite is nice cuz it's kinda laid back and cartoonish. I've looked into overwatch but that may be too difficult to start but I'm leaning towards going that direction. The 7 year old has tried marvel rivals but doesn't seem to like it. I've noticed paladins and splitgate ... Even if the game is cheap but fun and somewhat simpler to play to get introduced to fps games ... apex legends seems a bit complex even for me.

I did Google the same thing instead of posting here but I'm just curious if there's any hidden gems I'm missing.

Thanks.

Visual Novel with a TON of flexible gender and sexuality options?

So it can be suitable for anybody in the LGBT or people who just want to explore options (like me). Like most games have the normal boy/girl, maybe with the they/them in there. But sometimes people are agender, have multiple genders, some even have all genders. And sometimes that isn't represented in games. And then for sexuality, there could be like straight, gay, lesbian, pan, aroace, etc. I'm just trying to describe how flexible i want it to be i guess. Also just a me thing but can it be more on the slice of life side....and yes i have played Our Life: Now and Forever before, but it's just a demo.

ps4 games reccomendation request

So may favorite games of all time are perfect dark 008 golden for legend of zelda OoT and Majoras mask, twlighlight princess (didnt like sky ward sword or windwaker or pefrect dark 0)

the witcher 3, RDR1&, mafia, AC ezio collection,

i should point out that skyrim, gta and wow are not my cup of tea i hate the driving in mafia and games where you have to drive a car, or when first person shooting is the main focus 007 goiden eye, and perfect dark were more than just first person shooters which is way the other 007 games and the perfect dark sequal were so bad . I also i didnt enjoy halo(im wierd)

Been playing Balatro on mobile for over a year and I'm finally burnt out. What should I swap to for my smoke/lunch/bathroom breaks?

Got C+ achievement on Balatro. I don't have any intention of getting C++. At this point every run is starting to feel the same.

I'm looking for something that can be picked up & put down at any time without losing progress; no timers, etc., but the only thing I can think of is Pokemon. And I haven't really enjoyed a regular Pokemon game in years

Any suggestions?

Videogame Book Club!

My friends and I are starting a videogame book club type thing and I need help finding suggestions!

We’re looking for single player games, primarily story driven, that are shorter than 20 hours and generally under 20 dollars. What would you recommend??

Looking for a good online multiplayer FPS

I don't care whether it's F2P or not, I just wan't something dynamic and interesting. I've been playing Siege for a while but now it feels stale and boring, so I left it. CS2 simply hate it as well as Valorant. In my opinion they are boring, takes to much time and way too toxic usually. Currently, I'm trying out The Finals, Overwatch and Apex Legends. I'm not sure about The Finals yet. Overwatch I'd love to like it but something feels off tbh. Apex in it's core is great. I really like gunplay and movement mechanics, but sometimes It's really frustrating due to it's being a BR and usually what happens is Drop - Loot - Die - Repeat. Time to time you make kills. Sometimes you even win. But usually it's very repetitive. Any suggestions?

Game with the best "free roam" option

When I was young I loved Burnout Paradise City - just to relax and drive without any aim and listen to soundtrack.

Now that Forza 6 happened, is this a game which would you recommend to me? I don't mind some competitive driving it's totally ok - but it has to offer some free roam. I heard fh6 is good in both regards. Would you recommend me some games like that? I like the mix of arcade and realism or just arcade. Btw I can only now play on ps5
