Games with an ocean world and ship/base customization

I’ve played both Dredge and Subnautica recently, which has gotten me in the mood for some more ocean themed games. Looking for any combination of the bullet points below:

  1. open world type exploration
  2. customization of a ship, an land base, or both
  3. some kind of story element
  4. survivalist aspects like hunger or rest
  5. forgiving in either death or difficulty settings

Sorry if that sounds kinda specific lol, I looked around a bit online myself but wanted to see if anyone here had suggestions too :)

Can you change adult handwriting patterns?

Not sure if this is the sub for it but kind of running out of ideas. For context, I’m a creative writer and have been doing a lot more of my work by hand instead of computer, but I’ve run into a lot of issues with 1) hand cramps in the pad of my thumb 2) what feels like a very stiff tendon on the inside of my thumb.

I sifted around the internet for a while and found that I’m a lateral quadrupod grip, though nothing saying that it was wrong/bad (just a few things saying “kids who use this style might tire more easily). I’m trying to take my general hand health a lot more seriously and this feels like something I have to address.

Is it possible to change adult handwriting patterns once established? How do you even go about that? My handwriting is already messy enough as is and I’m worried it’ll get downright illegible if I try and switch styles.

Finished “Return of the Obra Dinn”, going through withdrawal

What it says on the tin. Basically looking for anything similar to RotOD, Outer Wilds, and Paradise Killer (both of which I’ve also played and really adored). The most fun aspect for me is seeing a story slowly unfold and having to make educated guesses and logic my way out of situations to proceed.

Other info:
As evidenced by the visual difference between the games I’ve mentioned, graphics don’t matter much to me.
Ideally nothing g too overtly scary or horror-based. The creepy atmosphere of the Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds’ anglerfish are about as far as I wanna go in that direction (still willing to hear out any suggestions tho, only hard line is no jumpscares).
Banger soundtracks optional but preferred :)

I’m a writer, and I’ve been cooking up a concept that involves a radio tower operator picking up unusual signals, only to discover they’re coming from underneath the town. After five seconds of thinking, I realized I have no idea if radio towers can even pick up signals or only send them. This then kinda spiraled into trying to find out how radio towers in general function lol

Any kind of insight here would be helpful!!

EDIT: did not expect so many responses so quick!! Thank you all!!! Given the story direction and things I had in mind, looks like I’ll be making the tower operator a HAM radio fan as well ;)
