After all the buildup and hype to confronting the head honcho after killing at least half his underlings... the "fight" is a bigger disappointment than I am to my parents.

Hint 1: you could say the head honcho's quite the dreamy guy.

Hint 2: you don't even get to kill the damn guy yourself, regardless if you get the good end or bad end.

Hint 3: your allies betray you to kill the head honcho themselves. All this accomplishes is letting said head honcho aura farm.

Hint 4: the entire game was a false flag operation.

You were friends with the leader of a sexist cult, a cradlesnatcher (potential groomer), a pointlessly gendered pet rock and a litteral (and figurative) cock. Now they are all dead and you must save their tormented souls after they took part in your waifus experiments.

These are all really nice people, and I haven't even mentioned the bad guy yet.

Your wanderlust and your friend's greed eventually leads to your sister being kidnapped. Now you have to petition mythical beasts for aid to save her.

First Hint: Your greedy friend basically nopes the fuck out at the first sign of real danger. Luckily, you enlist the aid of a narcissist, a tomboy, a nepo baby, and an alcoholic.

Second Hint: In all fairness to yourself and your friend, no one could have expected that the twink would turn out to be a knockoff Darth Vader. He seemed so nice.

You mean to tell me there is a story where people mess with time travel to change the past where nothing goes wrong at all, everything works out for the best at first try and everyone basically lives happily ever after???

Seriously, in 99.9% of all stories that do that, something ALWAYS goes horribly wrong. So it is kinda remarkable when it just...doesnt.

Hint 1: >!The guys who came up with the time travel idea are different from the person doing the time travelling who is ALSO different from the MC....who just got roped into this whole mess without being asked. Kinda.!<

Hint 2: >!A fairy regularly yells at you. No this is not a Zelda game.!<

Still no right answer it seems.

Hint 3: >!Time travel is not actually an active game mechanic but more like a story-telling element.!<
