After all the buildup and hype to confronting the head honcho after killing at least half his underlings... the "fight" is a bigger disappointment than I am to my parents.

Hint 1: you could say the head honcho's quite the dreamy guy.

Hint 2: you don't even get to kill the damn guy yourself, regardless if you get the good end or bad end.

Hint 3: your allies betray you to kill the head honcho themselves. All this accomplishes is letting said head honcho aura farm.

Hint 4: the entire game was a false flag operation.

SEAF Soldiers have a ton of new lines now, and this one really got me in the feels. Can't believe I got upset at our blueberries.

Lazy tomboy shonen heroine with amnesia tries to remember who she is, while kiling monsters with the power of tap dancing.

Hint 1: plot twist! The narrator was evil all along!

Hint 2: it's pretty likely sone people bought this game just because it happens to feature a famous singer for one song.

Hint 3: seems like everything has a roguelike mode now...

▲ 341 r/Stellaris

Stellaris REALLY needs a shipyard re-evaluator, or auto-move ships in que around to free shipyards. I am building up a ton of torpedo escorts in preparation for cetana, but the game insists on stacking almost all escorts on one shipyard, while leaving the megashipyard with empty que slots.

https://preview.redd.it/or29296mv4ih1.jpg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c3db15db25127bfa088430440b4c0901911433e

R5: title. ALL shipyards (including the juggernaut which i parked in the same system as mega shipyard) have a gateway, so they should be equidistant to the reinforcing fleet, but every time, stellaris absolutely insists that one shipyard must take the brunt of the ordered ships, and for some reason, it's almost never the mega-shipyard. This leaves me constantly trying to cancel orders, and retrying to reinforce to hopefully shove some of the qued ships into the mega shipyard. You can see that the Deneb shipyard has 57 more ships to go after its que, but the mega shipyard is only using 8 of its 20.

No one can remember why the evil skeleton ghost lady was brought to this world. This is a big problem.

Hint 1: she is patient. VERY patient. However, when her plan succeeded, she got too eager and didn't hide the key to her defeat very well...

Hint 2: the entire plot can be summed up in one quote. "overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer." (No, it is not DD 1 or 2.)

Hint 3: She will bring W.o.E to the world.

Hint 4: YOU, the player, are not safe from her.

Hint 5: she was never trying to kill you... only stall you. Unfortunately you realize this too late.

Hint 6: her children care not for the silly concept of "paused time".

Hint 7: in a fit of irony, her prisons were always temporary, despite what their name would otherwise imply.

Hint 8: Possession is her favorite method of achieving her goals. Intentionally getting herself exorcised is a major plot point, though you don't realize she WANTED to be exorcised.

Hint 9: Your power comes from 9 different attributes. NOT elements, and NOT stats.

Hint 10: The last game's player character makes a cameo as a corpse.

Hint 11: killing your friends twice is a mercy compared to what will happen if she gets her hands on them.

Hint 12: The shadows tearing your screen indicates something is coming for you... The way the shadows are aligned tells you the level of the threat.

Hint 13: Jumpscares? In my non-horror game? It's more likely than you think!

Hint 14: Past games told of how she arrived. This game, we bear witness to the event through a vision.

Hint 15: Let's be real. The only attributes to care about are red, orange, yellow, white, and black.

Hint 16: Well, if you do care about the other attributes, they're green, deep blue, purple, and cyan.

Hint 17: The more pure the color, the stronger it is. Mixing colors makes each attribute weaker.

Does this mech look like it could fit in mw5 mercs aesthetically if modded in?

https://preview.redd.it/fltgweles6fh1.png?width=1253&format=png&auto=webp&s=8fbb2d0db11fc71cc82f8883f5e73b4f9d4922bd

If this gets removed due to rule 4.1, fair enough.

Anyhow. Mech Arena was asking for collaboration ideas, and i suggested MW5 Mercs, proposing Mason himself could be a pilot. And that got me thinking for a small bit. One of the mechs, Brickhouse, feels like it could work as a Battlemech. It has a clear, distinct arm, side torso, legs, center torso, and cockpit areas, and unlike a lot of other mechs, it's much more grounded in its design (doesn't have floating limbs, is actually beefy looking, isn't overly futuristic, etc). I was thinking of possibly scouring for someone to commission modding Brickhouse in MW5 Mercs, but again am not sure if it would fit in design wise in the Battletech verse.

Obviously, I haven't put any thought into the lore. I'm a "shoot first, read story never" kind of guy. I'm only asking if it would fit in design and looks wise.

This time, i reccomend you DON'T touch grass. It's quite aggressive. Also skynet is determined to kill your ass because of capitalism.

Hint 1: the game is similar to the creeper world series.

Hint 2: oh great. There are zerglings now.

Hint 3: skynet gives new meaning to the term "liquidating assets".

Hint 4: this was supposed to be a simple mining operation...

You might be succumbing to the zombie virus, but you WILL save the earth from armageddon god damnit! And you'll kill every last one of these alien fuckers that did this to you and earth.

Hint 1: yes, zombies can use guns just like regular humans and aliens. Don't question it.

Hint 2: you're the last member of your task force.

Hint 3: score crotch shot kills for bonus points

My two cents on the super credit situation? Make the mutated egg/automaton skull worth SC if you extract with it.

It was inevitable that cheating in SC would be addressed, and while i never participated in it, it does feel real weird that the optimal way to gain SC without buying it is just doing d2 or d3, drive around in an FRV + warp pack or mech for 5 minutes then return to ship, rinse repeat.

Higher difficulties don't reward you with higher SC rates, and if im not mistaken, actively reduces the odds of getting a SC drop due to rare samples being added to the loot pool of PoI and bunkers.

My personal opinion? Just make the egg/skull worth 25, or even 15 super credits. 25 may sound like a lot but you still need to extract with the package, and would provide an incentive for those who are already maxed out on ship upgrades. And outside of blitzes, it's not like you're getting SC faster than just dropping in d2 or d3 maps.

This is the most overclocked i've gotten on the lathe. 5 million of each science, and 1.7 million energy credits to run with 217,914 pops.

R5: I wanted to see just how far i could push the lathe before finally leaving this universe. I just got done with 80x scourge, and am now taking a victory lap by finally harvesting the last of the galaxy to fuel the lathe one last time.  Even 8 ring worlds with 78 levels into Applied Superconductivity only produces about 330k energy.
