“You need to find a woman with bigger feet”

Overheard this at work today. A customer was on her phone walking past me. I heard nothing else of this conversation and I fear what may have been on the other end.

For anyone who has the cypher version of ptolus does it have any new character options?

Descriptors, species descriptors and foci? I know this book is 99% setting, but if it has anything new I can’t find in any book I’d be a bit more interested in running that setting. But if I’m spending that much I’ll need more than just setting even if it is super detailed.

Mod manager for oblivion remastered?

I want to mod the remaster, but I can’t find any good tutorials that recommend a mod manager. I know how to do manual installs for some things, but it gets tedious after a while and I’ve managed to delete important files multiple times without realizing and because my computer hates me they can’t be recovered. Meaning I have to start the process all over again! So I’ve given up and just want to use a mod manager.

Weird cypher deck?

So I bought a few cypher decks just to have handy just in case. The subtle and extreme cyphers makes sense, but the weird ones are well… Weird.

They just give three separate effects. A person/creature, object or place. There’s no information on how these are used and the effects are very vague. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should use these?

Thoughts on my homebrew rule for character enhancement paste tier 6?

It’s important to note that I haven’t dealt with a tier 6 character in my game yet. But currently, my rule past tier 6 is that for 4 XP a character can buy a power shift. I’ve currently limited the number to 6 power shifts but that might change. I feel this allows characters to stick around longer without feeling stagnant. I considered letting pools continue to grow as well, but at some point death just wouldn’t become a real threat. Power shifts at least allow stronger encounters meaning there is more challenge. Plus, with only 6, sure a character could become really good in a spread of area or stupid good in only a couple. What do yall think?

Rhythm bot not playing YouTube links in call

I tried to use the bot to play some music over YouTube in my TTRPG server yesterday and it wasn’t working. I’m in their support server, but haven’t gotten a response as to what the issue is. When I tried the bot again later today it was still not fixed. When I Googling it, I can’t find anyone talking about this issue that isn’t years old. I’ve used it recently so I know it can still function with YouTube links but for whatever reason it’s not working. Anyone know what’s up/any replacement bots? Preferably with a loop function?

Eldridge horror source books?

One thing I just thought of is that in DND and call of Cthulhu you have Eldridge horror monsters. None of the books I own for the cypher system have these. It’s easy enough to make one of my own, but are there any official books or fan made supplements on drive-through RPG I should look into?

Mythology book?

When going through the expanded world‘s book I noticed a lot of things come from fairytale and weird west which I know Monty Cook made genre books for. But there are artifacts and enemies that comes straight from Greek and Norse mythology. Is there a genre book dedicated to this? Or anything I can get from drive-through RPG? I would love to have some descriptors and foci based around mythology.

I can’t find anything in the revised rule book saying if abilities that use a weapon include the weapons based damage

I have a pretty major criticism about MinMax that I think we can all agree with…

PLEASE GIVE US LONGER EPISODES PLEASE! I NEED MORE! I’ve heard the guy in the background talking about taking a short break! I know that this is filmed over multiple days! Two hour long videos at least! I’M BEGGING YOU!
