I know it was caused by the game thinking spyro is on a ledge and at the same time its not but I just want to know how to reproduce it just cause this glitch is funny. Clearly its just a visual glitch

Spyro Reignited Trilogy on pc rant 😄

I have really good memories of playing this game back on the PS1.

I saw that the remakes are on Game Pass, and visually they’re beautiful, colorful, and definitely full of nostalgia. But man, I find the game incredibly frustrating.

Something about the platforming and controls just feels off. I honestly don’t remember the original PS1 version feeling like this.

After reading online, I found out that running the game above 30 FPS can apparently cause some issues, but can it really affect it that much? Sometimes the jumps and movement just feel like they don’t work the way they should.

I’ve played Super Meat Boy and The End Is Nigh, and somehow I don’t remember even those games frustrating me this much.

I’ve seen posts from people saying this game is really easy and relaxing, but for me it honestly feels like punishment sometimes. I’m near the end of the first game now, and having to restart the entire level every time I die is just… come on. Who has time for that? What is this, Dark Souls? 😂

Of course, there’s also a very real possibility that I’m just absolutely terrible at the game, lol. But it genuinely feels insanely frustrating to me.

Even Souls games or straight-up broken games haven’t made me feel this annoyed. At this point it just feels exhausting. Which sucks, because I’m really close to the end, but I’m losing the motivation to finish it.

It stopped feeling entertaining or fun and started feeling more like a chore — and honestly, life already has enough work and chores. 😂

Am I the only one who feels this way? Or are there other people who also get really annoyed by all these little things?

Permanent Superflame Cheat

I’ve gotten everything I need to activate the permanent superflame. I got 10,000 gems and all 64 orbs, I have looked up the code and found like 3 different options. I tried all of them and they didn’t work. Can someone please tell me the code, I’m on Nintendo Switch.

Help with Spyro Gift?

Hi!

I will be honest I'm an imposter here on this thread. My boyfriend is extremely into Spyro, it's his favorite video game.

I love him very much and want to get him a unique/rare Spyro Gift or merch item.

Does anyone know of any ideas? I thought about googling rare Spyro merch, but thought people might list things on eBay as rare when they aren't. Better to ask Spyro fans for help!

My backup plan is to hand make a Spyro plush of some kind and then make it a kandi cuff collar. But ideally I do something rare or interesting merch wise :)

Money isn't an object for this gift, so no worries there. I just want him to feel seen

Summer Time Cynder (art by me)

So decided to do another summer Cynder drawing. Used the GTA 6 girl as the inspiration. The Monster Energy Cynder is drinking is Zero Sugar Ultra Watermelon. Why? I don't know, it was the first I found when i typed in Monster Energy. Also Spyro is here being the supportive BF as always.

After all this time — I am officially ready for Spyro 4

Like most Spyro fans, I loathed the Flight/Speedway levels as a kid. I'm confident this is the first time in my life I actually achieved 100+% on all three games. Interestingly, both Year of the Dragon and Ripto's Rage final stages felt familiar. I know for sure as a kid I 100%'d Ripto's Rage, as that is my all-time favorite and the very first video game I ever played. I remember unlocking the unlimited fireball breath.

For Year of the Dragon, if I actually achieved it it must have only been once, but I'm also curious if it was just someone else's video I watched. Idk. Some of it seemed familiar (flying around to defeat the Sorceress), other parts didn't. What I am for sure confident I have never completed before was Spyro 1. It was the last game of the original trilogy I got as a kid, and thus it felt the least "Spyro" to me (voice actor included). I guess I was never that interested in Gnasty Gnorc, but I finally have all his loot.

Anyway, these are just the ramblings of a 31yo Spyro fan. Forever my favorite video game and my childhood fictional best friend. The world has many reasons to feel depressed these days, but a new Spyro game gives me childlike excitement and hope. I am really looking forward to the new game!

Is spyro the most unluckiest dragon of all time?

I mean like think about it for one min. First his dragon kind gets turned to crystal when he is just a teen then when he has to go for vacation he gets trapped in another world then he has to rescue dragon eggs from another world and only one accompanying him is hunter because apparently no dragon knows how to dig

Just completed the decomp version of Spyro 1

This version works and looks amazing on Steam Deck OLED.
It’s easy on the battery as well, still 90 fps at the 5W TDP limit.

Now I'm looking forward to the next decompiled psx versions of Spyro..

Just bought a 2019 copy of Reignited

After coming across a 2019 print of the Reignited Trilogy on eBay for £10. I thought why not purchase another copy.

My other version was the 2018 version with only Spyro 1 on the disc.

I've previously gone into CEX and asked if they had any discs with 2019 printed on them.. and they looked at me like I was a complete nutjob. It's super annoying that in the UK you need to look at the disc to see whether a version is the 2018 or 2019 print.

Probably a bit pointless getting a second copy as everyone has access to the internet to download the updates anyway.

What’s a level in 2 besides Robotica Farms and Metropolis that could easily fit into a R&C planet?

Breeze Harbor and Hurricos for me

Breeze Harbor feels like a mix between Blackwater City and Gemlik Base

Hurricos even has enemies that resemble Ratchet and Clank

Honorable mention: Aquaria Towers, the way you need to raise the level of the water feels like the Blackwater City mission
