How do you handle the number of supernaturals in your own games?

So this is more of a discussion question rather than being about some specific splat such as vampire or werewolf. From what I have seen the number of supernaturals given by white wolf are often seen to be on the low side(Which I agree with. Like there are a total of 690 vampires in the entirety of France. There are ten thousand intact castles there and you are telling me that only six percent of them are inhabited by a vampire? Don't get me started with Mage with there being only 58 mages in England meaning most cities either don't have a mage or have a single mage.) though the topic of this has been discussed to death.

What I wanted to ask was how do other ST's handle the numbers of supernaturals in their cities? Is it just as the plot demands or do you have a a thing like multiplying given number by 10 or do you make it so that every important city has enough of a population to represent every faction(Like every city has at least three of every clan or every tradition)?

You and your girlfriend are part of a group that creates golems, your girlfriend is a talented genius and you are her himbo boyfriend. After the big bad takes her away you must step up.

Hint 1 >!In the game the player is a minionmancer that learns to conjure different types of golems along the way!<.

Hint 2: >!As you progress through the game you recover your girlfriends body, mind and soul which are each at the end of a different stage. !<

Does 'widderslainte' have a meaning beyond Mage?

So I was thinking on what word 'widderslainte' without any knowledge on what the word actually means. Google translate translates it as resisted from Luxembourgish and maybe it fits like still resisting evil influence though I found myself feeling a tad unconvinced of that being the original word. Has there been any declaration saying 'This word is what Widderslainte is based on' or does someone know what the word may be based on?

Note: This came up in my head as I was thinking on what a mortal hunter would think if they mentioned multiple murders in an area and a mage said that they suspected of it being a Widderslainte'.

▲ 34 r/exalted

So when I was first getting started in Exalted my friend explained the settings structure as everything having a god ranging from kitchens to small rivers with a god being born if some place didn't have one however I couldn't really find something that would confirm that. Is that an actual thing or was it like something specific to my friends setting?
