A couple weeks ago, I was here announcing a refreshed and re-published Movement Detection Plugin for Tasker.

Today, I'm back to announce the return of my most popular plugin from years ago, Bluetooth Detection! It's fully redesigned and built for modern Android.

Like before the goal isn't to try to provide a feature Tasker lacks, it's to provide it in a more user-friendly and reliable way. Bluetooth Detection works to detect connected devices and nearby (but not connected) ones - or disconnects and "not nearby."

If you're interested in trying it out, please do. If you like it let me know. If you don't like it let me know how I can make it better. (Or even if you do!)

I know that some people really liked these plugins, and I'm glad to be able to bring them back for those users. By the way, if you had it installed before, this is a free upgrade.

I posted here a few months back about App Revenue Tracker, an app I made for checking my Google Play and AdMob earnings without logging into the web consoles every time. Two things went wrong with that post. The store link was broken, so apologies to anyone who tried it and gave up. And the app was paid at the time, which I think put off a lot of people who just wanted to see if it was useful.

So I fixed both:

It's free now, though it does have ads. I also pushed an update to add per-source revenue (your Play numbers vs your AdMob numbers) in more places instead of only on the main "today's revenue" card. There are also two new tiles: a Yesterday tile so you can see how the previous day finished, and a Last Month tile for your previous month's total.

It's still read-only on Play and AdMob data, so it can't change anything in your account, and your revenue data stays on your device.

I built this for myself and keep adding things I want out of it, but if there's something you'd find useful, let me know and I'll take all requests into consideration.
