Another Year Down!!
Another year down! She has been a royal pain in my A… but apparently that’s just part of the Cane Corso starter pack. She’s over 2 years old now.
When she was a puppy, I took her to training classes. Then I hired a behaviorist after she graduated basic and advanced obedience—not because she needed more school, but because I did. I also picked the brains of every Corso trainer who would tolerate my endless questions.
Turns out everyone who said, “Cane Corsos aren’t for first-time dog owners,” was absolutely, painfully, hilariously correct. THEY. ARE. NOT. 🤣
The funny part? Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t really training the dog. The dog was training me. We worked our tails off together, and we still train every single day. Now people stop to gush over how well-behaved she is. She does great at the vet, listens so well, and is somehow equal parts dignified guardian and absolute goofball.
I’m so proud of my good girl…but seriously don’t get one 😂 PAIN IN THE A!!!
