I have a Teac A-4300 that I use to listen to prerecorded tapes and occasionally record mix tapes on. The tapes I record on are mainly Scotch 207, Maxell XL II, and Ampex 641 for background music. Are there any decks worth upgrading to if I want to stay in the world of 7" reels?
I have a Teac A-4300 deck that I am experiencing a strange issue with. During reverse playback the tape twists between the pinch roller and the head causing terrible playback. During forward play there are no issues with the tape twisting. This is a reverse play problem only. Any idea as to what may be causing this?
I wanted a pair of rubber soled boots for bad weather days and found this pair of Hondo's for $150. At this price it was a no brainer!
