Gonna spend a few days at Crystal Beach TX. Starting out with these three blancos. This will be my first time trying the Lost Lore. About to see what all the hype on it is. The Aguasol is always a solid choice and not too expensive. Now the G4 high proof blanco is pretty damn amazing. It has definitely got a kick but the flavors are so bold. And really for a quality high proof like that it really isn’t that expensive, I think it was like 63 plus tax. We will most likely sip these near as well as mix them. I use 2 oz of tequila, pinch of salt, little squirt of agave syrup, splash of margarita mix and top off with Topo Chico. Spied some Volans high proof earlier, that may be next on the list.

Took me a month but I finally got a bottle of Fortazela blanco. It was at 58 bucks but they went up to 65 this time. Grabbed some G4 reposado for the wife for Mothers Day. It’s her favorite. Been using the Don Fulano repo for old fashioneds. The Ocho and Lalo are always good for margaritas and sipping. Today we got rained out from work so I went looking around and finally found this Patron 100 everyone on YouTube has been talking about it. It’s not bad but they have hyped it up. I was expecting an aroma that was rich that you could smell across the room but there was very little. It is agave forward, some burn, some brine and a little sweetness during the fade. Still wasn’t impressed tho. Does well in a margarita and at 100 proof for 47 bucks it’s worth it. Don’t expect it to be like Lalo or Cascahuin high proof tho.
