Does that happen often? should we refund the subscription?

Hey,

I've tried the Official PTE diagnostic test and I got 80+ in speaking, but 64 in writing.

but PTE gave me no feedback so I tested AlfaPTE eassy as well and I got the following results.

Writing 49 Out of 90

Content 3/6

Grammar 0/2

Spelling 0/2

Form 2/2

General Linguistic Range 2.1/6

Development, Structure & Coherence 6/6

Vocabulary Range 1/2

So its almost hopeless to expect that I get more than 0/2 in Spelling and Grammar as I usually relay on Autocorrect.

But what about "General Linguistic Range 6 points" and "Content 6 points" and maybe Vocabulary Range (2 points)

is there is a vocabulary list, flexible structure or memorized complex sentences we could use to minimize losing points in those?

I can't get passed 2/4 in Content, but I'm not sure why.

What Am I doing wrong ??

Hi,

This may sounds weird, but I find it really hard to spend more than 40 minutes focusing on something without taking a short break ( e.g. bathroom break ), in fact, I often find myself throwing the towel when I'm tired as I'm too tired to even care about anything.

At home, when I take the exam I give myself 2-10 minutes break between sections just to relax my eyes, go to the bathroom, stretch ...etc, But, I understand that this strategy is not going to work during the exam.

Do you guys have any tips on how to handle dry mouth and the need to go to the bathroom? or Do PTE has some sort of arrangement options?

Hi,

I've been trying to make a purchase for several days now with multiple different credit cards, none of them worked, and the support is not helpful; they sleep for 2 days then wake up and tell me the same thing ( try again with a different payment method or card) as If I own the bank.

I know this sounds crazy, but I couldn't help it to think that they just want to collect as many payment details as possible from us so they break it on purpose. ( I know what it sounds like, but I can't help it and its a possibility).

Am I the only one?
Could someone share or make the payment for me in a new account and share it with me and tell me how I can pay him back?

I've been trying to subscribe to the new official PTE practice that I've announced few days ago, but there is something wrong with their payment gateway, the support is still working on it.

However, I feel like I'm wasting my time, if anyone would like to share their account with me, I'd really appreciate that, thank you.

This is actually a few days old, but it's very important for many reasons.
First, To register you need to go to app.practice.pearsonpte.com

Why is this important?

1 - Accurate Score: Now you can find-out exactly what is your actual score.
2 - Third party platform Ai refined: All other platform (e.g Apeuni, AlfaPte, Language academy, ...etc) could train their Ai models on the official databases, For example, many could share their input answer ( e.g. voice or writing ) along with the question to these platforms to further improve their qualities.

3 - Teachers Methodology Upgrade: Teachers could actually test out new answering methods (e.g. structure or templates) before distributing it to their students.

Expected prices:

Official Preason PTE study portal would likely be 2X-5X more expensive than other platforms.
For example, Preason 60$ = 1 month, however, AlfaPTE 30$ = 2.5 months.

In my opinion, this is beneficial for test takers!

Hi, this might sounds weird, but I tried a free mock test in AlfaPte and I got overall 58; however, when I tried regular questions .. I was getting over 80 sometimes even 89.

Could it be a way to convince me to purchase a premium (which I'm planning to do anyway but I have bank issues) or Am I really that bad?

Have you guys tried the free account mock-test? do they reduce the results on purpose?

I'm getting high scores in AlfaPTE and Language Academy, but I'm not sure how reliable are the scores from these platforms. Any advice?

Is this normal? could someone take a look at this screenshot?
I've tried to summarize written text 3 times, every time I submitted i got a zero.

Looks like the main stream are Apeuni and AlfaPte; However, those who used either of them have complained about their accuracy, usually (5 to 20) above or below the actual mock test.
Obviously, many things could have gone wrong, but there are also many other platforms that has surfaced lately e.g. ( Gurully , Language academy , ..etc).

*Update*:
What is important to notice that AlfaPTE and ApeUni has the same web design which means they are likely owned by the same shareholders (Managing Director Irfan Zaidi and COO Zuhair Rizvi) and scored by the same Ai or has a similar Ai, but I don't want to just focus on them.

I decided to make a small test, I recorded answer to the Describe image - Egg Test ( which is on ApeUni number: 496 )

- it's Important to emphasize that, I used the same record on the same question, and I have a European accent.

Points	ApeUni	AlfaPte
Score and Exp	I got a horrible speech to text recognition and obviously a terrible score (43).	I got a significantly better speech to text recognition with a much higher score (77).
Location	is based in China - owned by Shenzhen APEUni Education Technology Co., Ltd, Founded in 2017, headquartered in Chengdu/Shenzhen.	is based in Australia - owned by AlfaBit / Alfa Education, headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria.
Suited for ( my opinion)	might be suited more for people with Asian accent	is likely more suitable for European accent.
