Every arctic gin uses cold imagery. I designed one that doesn't.

Every arctic gin uses cold imagery. I designed one that doesn't.

The arctic gin shelf is one of the most uniform categories in spirits, clear glass, blue label, ice crystals, glacier claims. Every brand communicates the same thing, cold.

The problem isn't the execution. It's that the whole category is answering the same question. They're selling the source environment instead of the consumption experience. Cold is where the gin comes from. Warmth is why anyone wants it.

FILL is a self-initiated concept brand built on that strategic inversion. The label wraps the bottle in quilted panels that read immediately as a puffer jacket. No ice. No glacier.

Category differentiation doesn't require a new idea. It requires finding the assumption everyone is making and asking what happens if you don't.
