Hi all, not sure if this is the right sub, just wanted to ask some questions about an Alibaba cleaner.

I have a small workshop where I restore classic cars and am considering buying a laser cleaner.

I've been looking for a 300W machine on Alibaba and came across the one in the photos. It seems to meet my required specs and is affordable at roughly $5000.

Is a cleaner like this likely to breakdown much or run into many problems?

If anyone has experience cleaning car bodies in situ, what problems, if any, have you run into?

Does anyone have any reviews for models like this? Or recommendations for better models at a similar price point?

Looking to pre-order the Reasonable Double 30th anniversary re-issue (still not available in the UK 😪).

I can pre-order from the Roc Nation Jäy-Z 30 intl. store or from Rough Trade.

Record cost £30.99 from Roc Nation (£39.69 incl. Shipping) with "estimated shipping: October 2026".

But £44.99 from Rough Trade (£49.94 incl. Shipping) stating "ships 3-13 Aug".

So Rough Trade cost £10 more but ships two months earlier?

Does anyone know why this might be??

Is there any chance the Roc Nation estimate might be wrong and it actually ships August?
