My copy of the Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous reissue arrived today, and I'm happy to see that this album finally got a reissue. Over a series of hard and grimy beats by the D.I.T.C. crew, this album is a phenomenal showcase of Big L's crazy skill on the mic.
This is the hip hop side of my collection so far, also have the new Czarface meets Frankie Pulitzer coming next week as well as The Streets, Original Pirate Material.

Just how exactly do you follow up an album like Piñata? They pulled through and did it with an album that can be argued as being just as strong. A masterpiece and a perfect album in my books. 10/10

Mess with this album so heavy and was disappointed that it won’t be released on vinyl so I made it myself (well, made the front/back covers, center labels, and created the flac/wav files for the songs I should say 😅) my first ever custom vinyl and so pleased with how it came out

This arrived this afternoon and I could not be more excited. This album always makes me smile because on one of our first dates my partner started playing this out of nowhere and I was shocked to find out she fucked with the Mighty Mos. The red vinyl variant initially sold out at Rhymesayers so when the email from TTL popped up I went with it. Glad I did as it’s a limited pressing of only 500 for this variant and it sold out pretty quickly too. Now I see I can get the red anywhere. FOMO paid off this time. It sounds good, as I watch the record spin I can see a slight wobble so there is a tiny bit of warping but it has not affected play. I also got the joy of adding this variant to Discogs today which is kind of dope.
Finally got my hands on Soul Food and upgraded to the VMP edition of Low End Theory and the audiophile pressing of Madvillainy. About to pour up a glass of Glenlivet and catch a vibe!
