CS8 PSA- from camp snap support
tldr: camp snap cs8 doesn’t work with external microphones yet. firmware update coming.
I thought I was going crazy after the 3rd different microphone I bought resulted in a beeping in the background of all recordings. I finally reached out to support and they were able to tell me that it is a known issue with a fix incoming.
i searched so many resources in order to help my troubleshooting efforts and never found anything useful until I spoke with support.
just wanted to post this out here so hopefully the next person doesn’t go crazy.
has anyone had any luck with any particular mics? Or any luck getting rid of that beep noise?
