Help regarding learning German
Hello everyone,
I’m living in Germany as an asylum seeker. Last December, I completed my B1 integration course. Right after that, I started working so that I could save some money, find my own apartment and distance myself from Sozialamt.
I was always aware that B1 would not be sufficient since my goal is to get into Ausbildung. I even tried with B1 but unfortunately it did not work. Earlier this month, I requested Agentur für Arbeit to support with the costs for B2 course, but they refused. They suggested to contact BAMF if they could be of any help. I wrote to BAMF but they denied as well.
At KVHS, I was also advised to try my luck with Jobcenter even though I have literally nothing to do with them. They also did not help. Makes sense.
At the moment, I’m still working and learning cluelessly on my own with the materials available. However, it is very difficult because I only work night shifts and have very little free time. I leave home at 8 PM and usually return between 7:30-8 AM.
I even asked the KVHS administration if it would be possible to join the classes by paying the fees myself but they said the course is only available for funded participants.
Right now, I honestly don’t know whom to ask. So I writing to ask if anyone has any idea or information to solve this situation. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
