I feel like a big part of this season is about Ed Baldwin's vision of the future of Mars vs Dev's vision of the future of Mars. But I dunno if the show yet has really properly articulated what this visions are.

Ed's I get. He wanted Mars to be the new America. A refuge for anybody regardless of who they were on Earth who wants to start over, and a chance at a redo of human society.​

Dev's is a little trickier to nail down. He wants at least a million people living on Mars post-automation, but he doesn't want it to be the people already living on Mars. So he wants Mars to just be like an escape for earth's wealthy?

I feel like the show is telegraphing hard that Avery is going to lose it, and probably do a war crime or two on Mars. Got a feeling she'll end up killing Lily (probably right after she uploads some crucial video that turns the tide) putting her in direct odds with Alex.

I really hope they don't fall into this. Her not doing that would be more interesting than her doing that. Have Alex and Lily's Marine buddy be the one who loses it.
