Hi there, my current pc is now over 8 years old and struggles to run adobe software, play games and is just generally sluggish. I would like to get another computer but at the moment can't afford putting aside £1000 for parts. Instead and for the added portable convenience I'm looking for a laptop around the £350-500 price point. It would need to be able to run basic adobe software, such as illustrator and photoshop and be a side benefit if it's able to run smaller games, such as indie games, party games and older single player games. At the moment I've been thinking about an ASUS Vivobook 15, if I was to get a ASUS Vivobook 15 (X1504) this would have an i7 and 16gb of ram however if anyone has any better suggestions or perhaps cheaper machines that are just as good please let me know.

Redwall Abbey - Linocut

I just finished reading the first Redwall book and really wanted to make some art about it. I made this quick two colour lino print, and had to move the layers around slightly digitally but i'm fairly happy with it. I'd love to revisit this idea in the future and create a larger, better designed piece.

A New Special Edition of Night Watch – designed by me!

Hi everyone, my design for the Penguin uk cover design competition that I shared here a couple months ago was commissioned by Penguin, meaning in a couple of months it’ll be available as an official, special edition! I hope you like it!

Intuos pro medium worth reselling?

I recently won an Intuos pro medium as a reward for an art competition. I’m almost entirely a traditional artists and already have an old Huion drawing tablet in case I want to do any digital art.

The tablet is unopened, I wondered if anyone had any advice on 1) if I should sell it, 2)if so for how much, bearing in mind its brand new and unopened, and 3)where would be the best place to sell it, eBay? Facebook marketplace?

Thank you for any help!

A ‘The Call of Cthulhu’ book cover design I recently created as part of a university project

Hello, as part of an overarching project in my final year at university I created this book cover design for ‘The Call of Cthulhu’, the illustration was drawn by me, based on descriptions found in the book, and carved on a Lino block. Before being printed and arranged digitally, I hope you like it!
