My wife found this hiking in northern Arizona last weekend. I’m thinking it’s echinopsis but not too sure.

Just realized I forgot to post this last week.

Gonna try to cross pollinate with a myriostigma but it’s barely opened up about 1/2 an inch )10mm). I can see pollen and have a tiny brush so I’m hoping it works 🤞🏻

Super fragrant! My wife said she wants a perfume from their scent. All I heard was “you need more cactus” 🤪

This piece fell off a potted plant so I put it in ground about two months ago. The top pad with the bloom is only about two and a half weeks old. I’m impressed with how fast this took off!

Pretty sure the bug is an assassin bug nymph. Please correct me if I’m mistaken.
