GSequencer your versatile audio and MIDI sequencer
GSequencer is libre software and is available from apple app store.
It allows you to connect your MIDI version 2 compatible keyboard to connect, play sounds and adjust controls. Played sounds appear in the editor and can be edited later. Assign keyboard controls to synthesizers. Either builtin or plugin instruments.
Host audio unit plugins in a sandbox safe environment.
Do notation using piano roll, automation, wave form and tempo editor. Import SMF from toolbar to composite editor by selecting position and MIDI channel.
Automate controls by adding automation points or ramp up values. Refresh controls available from machines context menu edit -> refresh ports.
Record audio and use wave form editor to cut or copy & paste audio data. Assign capturing sound card by context menu connections -> audio connection. Fast export from machines context menu.
Vary tempo using program marker.
Export to wave like audio files (WAV, FLAC, ...) while engine does playback.
