Negativity - is this just human?

I've been following the Slate Truck launch and watching the dialogue around it has been fascinating.

I've always thought that the negativity and sniping in the Aptera community was a bit overblown but geeze, people that don't like the Slate concept are super quick and very loud about it.

All that to say, if/when Aptera finally makes production and people that haven't paid attention until that moment see it for the first time, I predict we will get a massive influx of people really eager (and with no knowledge of why any design decision was made) to tell the world why it's dumb and wrong, or why nobody should buy it because it's missing the one feature they care about. Etc.

I guess my real point is, we should brace ourselves.

Tilt international?

I know the default answer is to stick with the plan no matter what. I'm currently at 70% domestic and 30% international index funds and it's been just fine.

However, we are living in arguably some very unprecedented times and my gut is screaming that I need to move more of my investments to international stock.

Can someone please talk me through some logical unemotional pro and con arguments for this from a boglehead perspective? I would like any choice to come from something more grounded than by gut.
