Update to my power leakage/grid compensation problem

Update to my power leakage/grid compensation problem

I've posted a couple times about my constant grid import issue https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobirdEnergy/comments/1u6bzmf/house_is_sipping_from_the_grid_im_not_getting/ https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobirdEnergy/comments/1uevpb7/getting_charged_daily_for_usage_after_grid/

There were very helpful comments that taught me about setting grid compensation and asking the installer to set it to -50w, which based on my first post that it's always importing 15-20w would've make sense. Since setting the compensation up the Foxess app was showing no issue in that. Consumption was zero. Great.

But Globird app was still showing I was constantly using 100-200w of power from grid every hour except peak 6-9pm where I'm exporting.

I ended up checking the point where I got the grid compensation setup, and did see Globird usage down by about 50w. Turns out my compensation needed to be around -250w instead of 50w.

Learning here was I should've checked the Globird app in detail on how much usage it was actually sipping, instead of just checking the Foxess app. https://imgur.com/a/MdJmi6E

You can see now around 2-3pm the usage has gone down to zero now.

Thanks for this sub's help. Turns out I was paying more for my power all this time not just with Globird, but previously with Flow and Amber. I might need to revisit them now I guess I was too harsh on them not realising I was the problem!

Getting charged daily for usage after grid compensation change

Have successfully changed grid compensation and getting $1 Zerohero thanks to the help of this sub. My Foxess app is showing a constant export to grid of around 30-50w. The foxess app stats also show 0watts used throughout the day except for free import hours.

However I'm still getting stung daily on these trickle grid imports. Is this suppose to happen?

TIA
