My friend's phone looks like this? Is there anything that can be done to get it working again?

Her phone is stuck on this screen. It will reboot and return to this screen. Unfortunately, she will lose unsaved photos if she can't recover her phone.

Came outside to what we think was an Eastern Screech Owl (South FL). What was it doing with its wings?

We thought it was injured but the moment we stepped away, it was gone. Also, the little guy (we believe to be a sparrow) in the 2nd picture was tucked away in palm leaves just a few feet from the owl. It was hidden from the owl's view and was in the same spot when the owl left.
