I am considering MTX because topicals are becoming more expensive with little possibility of long-term remission. For those who have taken or have been taking MTX in their 30s, how are the side effects? Also, if it fails or I experience side effects that I am prompted to stop, will my lesions come back at a worse state? Can I switch back to topicals?

I am using Daivobet ointment quite sparingly for my whole body. However, even so, my doctor is against my usage because the lesions are distributed all over my body / localized even though my psoriasis is guttate.

I’d like to hear your advice on my thoughts of leaving my night shift job.

For context, bago pa lang ako sa company. I started a new role (managerial) in May and I was fortunate to have been offered a generous salary and a permanent wfh setup. The thing is, while my boss is highly supportive and people at work are competent and efficient, I still think that I am not fit to be a people leader. I was offered this role because of my experience but I was initially going for an IC role. I still think of switching to an IC role because of my nonchalant attitude at work. Sabi ng former colleagues ko and friends, magaling naman raw akong leader but a part of me still struggles bilang ayoko talaga maging manager. Nasilaw lang ako sa sahod kasi maliliit offer ng ibang inapplyan ko.

Aside from the role, I report from 11 pm to 8 am. Nakaka-out naman ako on time, kasi hindi pa gaanong busy sa role ko. Gayunpaman, hirap akong matulog. Masuwerte na if makatulog ako ng 5 oras straight. Usually, putol putol tulog ko. I really think I cannot live like this long term.

And then, one thing I have been really considering is attending Sabbath every Saturday. Going to church is really important sa akin. Para makasimba, after logging out ng Sat, matutulog lang ako ng isang oras then liligo na para makasimba. Sometimes, I’d stay at church until 6 pm because of worship and duties kasi officer rin ako. Sunday - I treat it as regular day meaning sa gabi ako natutulog. Come Monday, wala na akong gaanong magawa dahil I wanted to get some sleep kahit in reality, hirap ako.

Do you think hopping on to a new job / role would be worth it? Gusto ko magbalik bilang normal na mamamayan / tao. Hahaha. I am very grateful though to have been given this opportunity tapos twice my last salary pa ang bigay sa akin but at this point, I want to prioritize my health (wala pa naman akong nararamdaman but basically, pangit ang sleeping pattern ko) and my commitment sa church at sa Panginoon.

Can anyone share if any tar ointment had been helpful to you? I have been using Daivobet / Daivonex in my 19-year psoriasis journey. Even using them sparingly, I still find them expensive especially that prices have increased (in the Philippines). One 30 g tube of Daivobet is priced similarly with one tub of tar ointment. If tar ointment works, then it’ll help alleviate my financial worries. Thank you.

Hello, everyone! Lilipat po kami from Malanday to Sta Elena, and currently looking for a good ISP since permanent wfh ang job ko. Landlady said Converge sila, however not sure with other neighbors. Meron po ba dito living around this area who can attest na maganda Converge? I checked if may coverage ang GFiber sa area pero wala raw sabi sa site nila.
