I’m shipping out for Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson in September. I started my naturalization process before leaving for BCT and have already completed my biometrics.
USCIS scheduled my naturalization interview for October, but I’ll already be at BCT at Fort Jackson at that time.
I’ve heard that some service members are able to have their naturalization interview conducted at the end of BCT. Has anyone here gone through this process at Fort Jackson?
How can I request to have my USCIS interview transferred to Fort Jackson? Is there a specific person or office at Fort Jackson that I should contact, or does USCIS coordinate this through the military?
