Welcome Room – Kegger Krew Brew

As soon as they arrived at the meeting place marked by the peculiar Darkner, Kris and Pink found the aforementioned figure sprawled on the floor. Half of their body looked as if it had been disfigured by something corrosive…

Upon sensing the approach of the guests, the afflicted Darkner weakly raised a glass bottle in their direction. Kris and Pink halted their advance, raising their eyebrows in confusion at the sudden gesture.

After a series of coughs, the Kegger Krew member clarified: “Here. Take my work of art… Our plan worked better than expected, GAHR!”

*Our plan? Since when?

*I did PROERD (refuse)

*Take the bottle of dubious content ❤️

Kris stepped forward and took the purple-looking bottle with as much care as possible, not wanting to experience the same fate as the Darkner on the ground.

In the meantime, Pink split apart. Now Mew Mew and Maddie were assessing the situation on their own. While Mew Mew wore an expression of pity, Maddie remained cautious, arms crossed, watching the actions of the drink-loving Darkner.

Speaking of which, the beaten-down Kegger Krew member leaned against the wall and vented:

“Now I can rest in peace, knowing I made the most perfect of alcoholic drinks… Huh? Oh. I can hear… the angels coming to take me and…”

They paused. They moved their head at various angles, as if trying to see something in the distance even with their eyes closed. “Never mind. They’re just DEMONS. They’re laughing at my situation, staring at me with those eyes…” As if realizing something clarifying, the Darkner widened their eyes and stared into Kris’s from behind the fringe — which was now also worried.

“KRIS!!! YOU–”

Unfortunately for everyone present, the Darkner’s time had run out. Their face froze in pure terror. After a few seconds, the body dissolved into a faint red glow, just like the other Darkners who had perished.

“...”

“...”

“...”

“Uh… Kris, do you think this is the drink that old man asked for?” Maddie asked, still trying to forget the fact that the creator of the delicacy had died right in front of her.

“Let me see.” The human raised the strange object toward the ceiling lamp, as if that would help somehow.

Kris checked the item’s description.

[Hyper Death Geyser: An alcoholic mixture made of pure pain and suffering, served with ice and mixed with water. Maybe someone wants this… Restores 2000 HP, but HOLY SHIT?!?!]

“Yeah. Definitely that’s it,” Kris concluded.

“Hmm… Let me check the authenticity of this thing! Thing! THING!” Maddie demanded, snatching the bottle from Kris’s hands.

*…

*And why would you do that, Maddie? ❤️

“Just to make sure it’s not just grape juice, obviously! Besides, I’m a ghost, remember?” As if to emphasize the point, Maddie used her free hand to guide Kris’s eyes to her spectral tail.

“I don’t know, mew… Are you sure you want to test that?” Mew Mew, still worried about her friend, tried to talk her out of it.

“Of course! I have a refined palate for this kind of thing, you know? Since I’m very, very, VERY ADULT!”

Before Kris or Mew Mew could remind Maddie that she had only turned 18 a month ago, the ghost took a quick swig of the amicably named drink.

GULP!

[Maddie’s HP was maximized!]

A few moments passed and, since nothing had exploded yet, Kris dared to ask: “So… How is it?”

Smacking her tongue a few times, the reckless ghost replied: “Hmm… It tastes like water. And the texture reminds me a bit of yogurt.”

Kris and Mew Mew felt a strange mix of relief and disappointment, their shoulders dropping dramatically.

Satisfied with the result, Maddie capped the bottle and returned it to Kris. “A unique enough experience! Enough! ENOUGH! Let’s go to the old man, everyone. He must be waiting for us by now!”

And so the group set off…

…for about two seconds.

Maddie suddenly clutched her head. Her gray body began to tremble furiously. Her expression was pure agony.

[+Drunk, +Crying, +Melting.]

“OW, FUCK! EVERYTHING BURNS! WHY DID THE WORLD TURN GRAY?! THE DARKNESS BURNS SO MUCH! I FEEL MY SINS CRAWLING ON MY BACK! COLD IS ALL I CAN FEEL! LIFE HAS NO MEANING! WHY DO KRIS AND MEW MEW KEEP BEING SUCH FUCKING HOTTIES?! THE ANGEL HAS ABANDONED US! ABANDONED! ABANDONED!!!”

And as if a switch had been flipped off, Maddie regained her posture. An ecstatic smile appeared on her face.

[-Drunk, -Crying, -Melting.]

“Damn… THAT WAS AWESOME!” Maddie declared, turning to her close friends. “You guys should try it!”

“I’ll pass,” Kris concluded.

“I’m on a diet,” Mew Mew argued.

“You don’t know what you’re missing! Missing! MISSING!” said Maddie, the strange happiness still stamped on her face as she fused back with Mew Mew.

Pink was now walking with a bit more confidence, Kris noticed.

[Maddie’s MAX HP was permanently decreased by 6. AT, DF, and MAGIC were permanently decreased by 3. Maddie is now immune to Hangover, in exchange for becoming Drunk with more difficulty… Maddie also gained resistance against Water Attacks!]

[Maddie learned “Brutal Gnosis”!]

[Brutal Gnosis (passive): While Melting, Maddie’s AT and MAGIC receive a 50% increase.]

Maddie's Room

“...Hey, Kris. I've been thinking about something...” Maddie said suddenly, pulling the human from his concentration on the video game.

[GAME OVER]

Kris just stared at the screen with his usual neutral expression.

Realizing what she had done, Maddie blushed slightly. “S-sorry about that…”

*It's okay. It's just a game, after all. What did you want to tell me? ❤️

*...

Surprised by Kris's calmness, Maddie continued: “O-oh! Well... It's just that I've noticed a kind of worrying pattern in our relationship, you know?” She paused briefly. Only then did she realize how strange that sounded. “D-damn... That's so weird to say out loud!”

*And what pattern would that be? ❤️

*You look really cute like that, you know?

*Strangeness is what makes you interesting.

“It’s just how you always use my name when you talk to me.” Maddie wagged her tail from side to side as she tried to organize her thoughts. “I, for example, affectionately nicknamed you Blue Idiot… or Yellow Idiot! I think I deserve some more creative ways to be called, don’t you think?”

Kris remained silent for a few moments.

(Should I mention that “Maddie” is practically a nickname already?… No. It would be rude to ignore the question.)

*I imagine you already have some ideas. ❤️

*How about “Pocket Ectoplasm”?

“Hmm… Let me think~” Maddie brought the tip of her tail to her chin, pretending to reflect deeply. “I think I’d like to hear ‘My Fabulous, Incredible, and Adorable Poltergeist!’”

*No fucking way.

*As you wish, My Fabulous, Incredible, and Adorable Poltergeist! ❤️

*...Any ideas a little shorter?

“As you wish, My Fabulous, Incredible, and Adorable—”

“S-SHUT UP! SHUT UP! SHUT UP!!!” In a desperate reflex, Maddie shoved a limited-edition Mew Mew scarf into Kris’s mouth. Looking at her, Kris realized her entire body had turned an intense shade of pink. “W-why does hearing that coming out of your mouth have to be… worse than if you were cursing me out?!”

*Maddie is already great.

*That nickname suits your aura, Maddie.

*You’ll get used to it. ❤️

“...Y-yes… You’re right.” She looked away. “T-thank you, Kris… For being nice to me… and everything.”

“No need to thank me.”

Clarification: Maddie is in her ghost form in these scenes.

The fanfic will be about Pinkris, this involves Maddie, Mewmew, and Pink along with Kris.

The Soul... is a conscious and inconvenient surprise. This can be both positive and negative, but it depends on the situation.

I wanted to post about three amazing images, but I don't know if they would fit the community's theme.

The post title would be this:

It would be a discussion about the possibility of Pink and Kris fighting together against a super-boss in a hypothetical future chapter.

Brutal.

I want to write a fanfic about these two, but I'm not sure how I would go about it.

Like, a one-shot or a multi-chapter story? A slice-of-life story or an action-adventure?

I overthink it and end up doing nothing... It sucks.

Please know that this isn't the first fanfic I've written, but it will certainly be the first about Deltarune. More specifically, about Pink x Kris.

I'm not the greatest writer in history, but I still aspire to create something at least minimally decent.
