It might be peak high energy Mountain Goats, like above Best Ever Death Metal Band, Palmcorder Yajna, Choked Out, Training Montage, etc. It helps that I live in Long Beach and my son's favorite restaurant is in Garden Grove, so we drive through cranking the shit out of that song. I'm trying to build a pavlovian association in his head.

A friend forwarded this my way earlier today and I thought I'd share it with y'all.

It doesn’t have to be in the same film, just what musical band from any movie has the highest overall kill count for their band members based on the actors in that film or in other roles they might’ve played. I’ll start: Denzel Washington’s jazz quintet in Mo. Better Blues. Denzel’s the Equalizer, his Saxophonist is Blade and his sedate keyboardist is Gustavo Fucking Fring.

Looking around the Long Beach area for any butchers who do something more than just Italian sausage and bratwurst.

Up in LA at third and Fairfax in the farmers market there, there’s a place called Huntington Meats and they always have at least six or seven different crazy interesting sausages.

Anyway, I miss that and I would love to try to find a place down here that does something similar.
