Alocasia drama
I got this Alocasia about a year ago. I read that they can stay dormant in winter so I've been holding out hope. I thought new growth would come from the stem. Can anyone tell me if this is normal growth or maybe something that was in the soil?

Portugal destination wedding help!!
My fiance and I are at the beginning stages of planning and one of our ideas is a destination wedding. We're in the northeast US and pricing here is outrageous. If anyone has any venue ideas that also have lodging we're looking for recommendations! Our budget for all in is about 20k not including travel. Any advice is welcome!
