Hey r/Shure. The team released some new features and improvements for anyone using Axient Digital PSM wireless systems; most notably the new SC Narrowband transmission mode and an improved CueMode workflow.

🔧 New Features & Improvements

• SC Narrowband Transmission Mode – SC narrowband is the new, single-carrier transmission mode designed to better maintain signal stability when scraping metal objects, such as high-hat drum cymbals, are within line of sight between the bodypack receiver and the transmit antenna.
• Enhanced CueMode Workflow - All transmission modes are now accepted into CueMode entries. Each CueMode entry no longer automatically loads through each increment or decrement of CueMode entries. Instead, scrolling through CueMode entries previews the Home Option information as a pending change. Press Enter to apply the pending CueMode being previewed.

Hey everyone — Shure just pushed a new app update for the iOS and Android versions of Wireless Workbench Mobile.

This release adds support for the ANX4 Scalable Wireless Receiver for Axient Digital and ULX-D systems, plus a few necessary bug fixes for the Android-specific version of the app. See the release notes for each version below:

• Intermittent issue on Google Pixel devices where recording stops after 2 seconds
  • Workaround: Navigate to the Library tab and play a recording longer than 5 seconds in duration. Return to Record screen and begin recording.
• Intermittent issue found on some Google Pixel devices where recordings are not auto-saved when the device powers off due to low battery
• Intermittent issue found where app crashes during long (3+ hour) recordings in AAC formats. Recording may be unrecoverable

• App crashes when starting live stream on Samsung Galaxy S24 devices
• Audio distorts when using Auto Level Mode with MOTIV mics on Samsung devices running Android 16
• The FPS and resolution combinations available for selection will vary based on the user’s phone.
• Known issue where a microphone’s gain value does not get updated when manually entered in the Device tab

• App displays incorrect input if a different mic is chosen via iOS Control Center
• Issues with monitoring of MoveMic when app is sent to background or when using wired headset with single MoveMic
• App crashes at launch after closing during firmware update
• App will continue to show two waveforms if one MoveMic is disconnected while recording
• The FPS and resolution combinations available for selection will vary based on the user’s phone.
• Intermittent issue on iOS devices where phone will freeze if MV7i is unplugged while FW updating
• Intermittent issue on USB-C iOS devices where MV6 microphone is undiscovered after locking the phone for several minutes
• Answering a call when firmware update is in progress can cause the app to crash
