Manta Sleep Sound or Sleenova SoundMask? Anyone tried both?

Okay so I'm one of those people who literally can't fall asleep without some ocean or rain sounds playing in the background. Problem is, I'm a side sleeper and sleeping with earbuds in is just miserable. So yeah, I've been looking into those sleep masks with built-in headphones that people keep recommending.

Well, after going down a bit of a rabbit hole, I think I'm down to Manta Sleep Sound and Sleenova SoundMask. Checked Amazon and Sleenova is sitting at 3.9 stars while Manta is at 3.5. I see Manta mentioned way more often tho. Sleenova is a little cheaper and apparently has sleep sounds built in so you don't even need your phone.

Honestly tho, I mostly just care about comfort. Is there anything else I should be looking at when choosing one of these masks? Like how well they block out light or something? Idk if I'm missing anything here. Anyone actually used either of these? Especially if you're a side sleeper.

Any AI tool that can handle both online and offline meeting notes?

Our team already uses AI for basically all meeting notes now. Zoom handles most of our online meetings, I use Otter for in person stuff, and regular phone calls end up in my iPhone recordings.

And honestly it’s getting annoying. We have meeting notes everywhere. When I need something from like 2 weeks ago, so hard to figure out which app it was in before I can even search for it.

Is there any AI tool that can handle online meetings, phone calls AND in-person meetings in one place?

Just want one system for summaries so I can stop digging through random files.

Anyone else feel like open ear earbuds can't do bass?

I've been going down the open ear rabbit hole lately and honestly I keep running into the same wall. Every pair I've tried sounds fine for podcasts but once you're in a louder spot or throw on something with heavy bass, the low end just kind of falls apart. I know a little bit about how this works, bass needs a sealed space to build up pressure and without that seal you're just not gonna get much low end. That's why most open ear designs sound so thin in that department. So I'm genuinely curious, can an open ear design actually deliver good bass without that in ear seal?

The baby item I upgraded first as a STM

STM here, and this time around buying baby stuff wasn’t nearly as overwhelming as the first, but the one thing I knew I wanted to upgrade was the baby monitor.

With my first, we used a basic video monitor. It was fine, nothing terrible, but the picture quality wasn’t great, so I was always a bit uneasy about it.

You don’t really get how useful it is until you’re checking it 20 times a night like, wait, is baby awake or just making weird sleep noises? A good one saves you from walking in, waking them up, and immediately regretting your life choices.

So this time I wanted something clearer and a little smarter. Hope this helps anyone building their baby list right now. Some baby stuff is whatever, but a solid monitor is not one I’d go too basic on.

Back-to-school headphones for a 9-year-old? (are adult headphones suitable for kids?)

My daughter is 9 and I'm starting to get some of her back-to-school stuff together. One thing I'm still trying to figure out is a good pair of headphones for her iPad. I don't mind spending more if they're comfortable and durable. I'd rather buy one decent pair than keep replacing cheap ones every few months.

I've seen some parents seem to buy regular headphones from brands like Sony or JBL for kids around this age. Maybe they just feel it's better value to buy a nicer pair instead of replacing cheaper ones all the time, but I have no idea if adult headphones actually fit kids well. Has anyone here tried adult headphones with a 9 or 10 year old? Do they usually fit well?

AI almost hallucinated me into a crisis 2 hours before my deadline.

I’m a marketing specialist with a massive product report due in 2 hours, and you won't believe it the last minute you realize the AI just confidently made up half the competitor stats.

I didn't have time to manually Google 50+ data points, so I ran it through that fact-check function on Genspark.

And surprise! One AI saved another AI from its mistake in the end. It did scan live web sources, flagged the BS. And! It gives you the actual source links in the sidebar so you can verify them instantly.Seriously, should I say AI is reliable or unreliable?
