Moving into new home with HFC backhaul. Can someone explain how this works?

Crossposting from whirlpool. I am building in QLD and have a HFC connection when checking via NBN. Still haven't yet moved in. I have a single powerpoint gpo and an ethernet port in the garage.

When querying with the builder they advised they supply a conduit with a draw cable for the NBN provider to run the necessary connection cable through. Depending on what is provided for the area, this will either be a coaxial cable or Cat 6 cable. (So this should be the coax cable)

They then say that the NBN connection box can then be plugged directly into the Ethernet port installed internally, so no coaxial port is required inside the property.

My question is do I receive an arris box? I'm confused at how this Powerpoint and ethernet port works with a hfc setup and what will be mounted on my wall as these wall ports are about 1.5m high on the wall. If anyone has any photos to show an example that would be awesome so I can understand how the hfc connection works for a new build.

I've only built previously and had FTTP which was a bit more straight forward with the NTD.

Bonus points if you have a relatively new build on HFC and could share some photos of your NBN setup so I can better understand what the final product will look like.

I have a failing hard drive as a Windows boot drive and need support

I have a failing HDD with reallocated sectors on it. It is a primary Windows HDD boot drive and the info needs to be retained. I want to migrate to a new SSD. I tried to use macrium reflect but it failed the with a Data error cyclic redundancy check read failed 23.

I have a USB I was using for the macrium PE boot drive. Is there any other tool can I use opensuperclone? Can I put it on a bootable USB or what is my next best option to try and clone and recover this drive before it completely fails? Thank you and appreciate any suggestions!

edit: I disconnected the HDD into a spare pc, used macrium to create an image and ignored the drive error. It then was able to be cloned over to the SSD successfully
