Alaska 737-900 Winglets seat comfort / tips

Hi all! I’ve got an upcoming Alaska flight and could use some advice. Each leg is on a 737-900 (Winglets), and after flying Delta for years, the first class price difference was enough to get me to try Alaska instead. It’s also my first Alaska flight in about 10+ years. I only fly once or twice a year now, so I’m pretty excited.

I preordered breakfast and went with the Mochi Waffle x Fried Chicken collab, but if that was a bad move, please tell me now, haha. I also noticed the fruit and cheese and the parm eggs and bacon seem to get good reviews in the sub.

My main question is about the seats. I’ve seen a lot of comments saying the Winglets seats are really uncomfortable, but I was fine on Delta’s A321 Neo, which also gets a lot of complaints, so I’m wondering if it’s more personal comfort than anything. Is it bad enough that I should bring something to sit on for a 6-ish hour flight?

Also looking forward to the lounges in JFK and SeaTac - any pro tips would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

An Upcoming Stay, Odd Hours. Tell The Hosts? [guest]

Hi there! I’d love some advice on an upcoming Airbnb stay. I’m flying for work and have a 4-night rental, but I’ll only be there full-time for 2 days and then in and out at odd hours for the other 2. I have a long history of being a respectful guest, and I always leave places clean and well cared for. 35 stays and all excellent reviews.

My question is: should I let the host know in advance that my schedule will be unusual? The rental is next to the owner’s home, and I don’t want to seem shady or cause any concern, since I’ll mostly just be there to sleep and recharge. For the event days, it would be cat naps, a change of clothes, grab a bite, and run back out. The only listed rule is quiet outside after 10:30pm. (There aren't any hotels in the area, or I would have gone that route due to the odd hours)

Since this is my first time with a lot of coming and going, I’d really appreciate any thoughts on whether I should mention it ahead of time. Thank you so much!

TSA-approved foaming travel bottles

Hi there! Looking for a travel sized foaming bottle to decant some of my Kevin Murphy Heated Defense into for a trip coming up. I've tried other products and this one doesn't cause an allergic reaction. Would love a recommendation! Thanks so much!
