Will I be able to switch student loan repayment plans each year if I want to like it used to be before all these changes?

Can I switch from RAP to IBR? RAP to Standard? IBR to RAP? IBR to Standard? Standard to RAP? STANDARD to IBR?

Any others I’m missing? 🤣

What is best plan now? And long term? Can I see a graph or chart of different income levels, family size, and how much student loan payments will be at each level?

Total Loan Balance : $68k

AGI (2025) : $27k (Total Joint)

Family Size : 4 (2 dependents)

First Loan Ever : Sept 2006

Also, will I be able to switch plans from RAP to IBR, RAP to Standard, IBR to RAP, etc… in the future if I want to change plans?

I am also looking ahead as I’m training for a higher paying job so want to see a graph or chart to know which plan will be better longer term.

Will I be able to claim student loan interest deductions on my tax returns with government paid interest above my monthly payments with the new RAP like with the SAVE plan?

With SAVE, I received a 1098-E and was able to deduct student loan interest on my taxes. Will that be the same with RAP?

I paid $0 interest under SAVE, and yet I was still able to deduct $2,500 interest on my tax returns by reporting what was on Form 1098E. I’m wondering if the RAP interest subsidy will appear on form 1098E the same way as the SAVE interest subsidy?

The new Goals feature completely messed up all my previous budgets!

ridiculous!

How can I get back all the previous amounts of goals in past budgets? I didn’t think if I set new target amounts for the future, it would fill in all past budgets with those amounts!

How can I restore it back to the way it was?

Do iMazing get a free yearly subscription from me if I upgrade my phone?

I was thinking about signing up for imazing, but the extremely odd subscription model is giving me pause. I have read all their articles on the subject, so I’m hoping an iMazing mod doesn’t refer to those articles or give me a generic answer.

Bottom line questions…

  1. Am I right to interpret iMazing will make an exception and unlink my old phone if it breaks or gets lost — and then allow me to link my new phone without charge?

  2. What if I sign up for an iMazing subscription and then 3 days later I upgrade my phone because my phone is getting old and slow? Does that mean I just paid a yearly subscription for 3 days of use, then a 270 day waiting period?

  3. What if I am a yearly subscriber to iMazing for 3 years. I decide to upgrade my phone. does that mean I have to sign up for two yearly subscription that year and can’t just swap my phones in the current subscription?

Can anyone help me make sense of this madness? It seems it would be easy enough to just offer 1 courtesy swap per year without needing to contact support. and then after that, you have to contact support.

Also, there should be unlimited (or up to 3) swaps per year due to lost/broken. And 1 swap per year due to upgrade.

This seems like a fair compromise. Why does iMazing make their subscription model so weird to the point I would have already signed up if it wasn’t so weird… so they are just costing their business money by scaring away subscribers?

a few years ago, I switched from todoist to TickTick. I havent considered switching back ever until recently. Filters need to get better. Simple filters like seeing all repeating tasks that are overdue are not possible in TickTick. I likely won’t switch right now but if Todoist comes out with another killer feature or when my subscription for TickTick comes up again next April, I may definitely consider it…
