A small appreciation post for Leica Copenhagen

While on vacation in Copenhagen, I somehow lost the front lens cap from my Leica M9 with a 35mm Summicron V2.

I stopped by Leica Copenhagen hoping they might have a replacement. Before anything else, I was welcomed with a coffee. Then, rather than simply telling me they didn’t have one for sale, they took the time to search around the entire shop until they found one that would fit.

And then they simply gave it to me.

It’s a small thing, but experiences like this are exactly what make a difference. Great products are one thing, but being treated this way as a customer is what creates real loyalty to a brand.

Thank you, Leica Copenhagen, for the wonderful hospitality and service. ❤️📷

Help with rescued tank

One month ago I rescued (bought) a new tank.
The tank had overdue maintenance and was a huge work to make it functional again.

Had some losses but taking in to consideration the state of the aquarium I consider it was a success.

Now all my parameters are on acceptable rages excluding PO4. Even diluting at 50% my Hanna ULR PO4 max out, this means they are higher than 1.8

I’m doing 10% water changes weekly, replacing filter socks every 3 days, dosing 10ml daily of NOPOX and have 80g of RowaPhos.

The tank is 250l with a sump of 50l, it was highly overstock but I managed to rehome a snowflake eel, a yellow wrasse and a lyretail wrasse. Currently it has 3 chromis, 2 ocelaris pérgula, amphiprion frenatus , six line wrasse, fox face and a two spot bristle tooth tang. (I know it stills a bit high stocked)

I think this may be the live rock releasing all the PO4.

What else ca I do to make the PO4 in a more manageable levels?

The other parameters are
NO3 25
Dkh 8.2
Mg 1359
Calcium 420
Amónia 0
Ph 8.2
Salinity 1.025
