Z32 EGR removal.
I have the upper intake off and the injectors out because of a failed injector. I am looking right at the EGR and contemplating it but I'd like to know I can get it off before I start in on it.
I can't access the rear nut on the right hand tube (right red arrow above) to the intake manifold and both of them on the left side (left red arrow) of the engine are tough to get a wrench on. It looks to me at this point it would be possible if I removed the fuel rail and lower intake as well. I feel like it would help the two green arrows when it comes time to remove them. I have the feeling that the EGR would come out with the intake if the side tubes were detached by then. Anyone want to critique my plan?
