Am I being too picky?

After years of buying reps, I’ve come to except that if I want a perfect watch I should go spend $10k more and buy the real thing. Knowing this, I’ve never given a RL (red light) on a watch - most have been 95% right.

Today is sent my first.

The XF Tudor Pelagos (Blue) QC photos came in with significant burrs on the second hand, dial print that had significant gaps, and misaligned indices.

Am I being too picky on a $400 rep, or would you have given it the RL also?

My fellow XF Tudor Pelagos owners, have you had similar experiences or has the quality been positive - like my last two XF and ZF Tudor purchases have?

Having just received my first Helm watches - I was lucky enough to land three within weeks of each other - I am in awe of the quality of the lume and value of the brand. I’m a little concerned with changing out bezels after seeing a few posts of dinged Ti watch cases, but I’ll figure it out soon enough. Glad to be a member of the Helm fan club!

I was so lucky to get my first three Helm watches all in one day! While I was traveling, I got notifications for each purchase while I was away. Each watch was delivered to my place, but I wasn’t there to pick them up. Thankfully, some friends were visiting us abroad and brought all three to me. It’s like Christmas in June! These watches are absolutely beautiful. The best part? I actually got the blue dial Miyako, even though I thought I’d bought the grey one (I was really hoping for the blue)! I’m still finding opportunities to wear each, but I can already tell these will be getting heavy wrist time and it’s going to be hard to choose a favorite. For those still on the waiting list, I found the wait to be worth it. Maybe you will too. Cheers! 🍻

What is everyone wearing today? I’m rocking my two-tone Oceanstar GMT. Love the wrist presence of this piece. You could get lost in depth of the black dial with the black rehaut - clean yet complex.
