Making Dedication by First Person has been licensed for a film premiering at FrightFest London
Wanted to share a significant update about Making Dedication by First Person has been licensed for a film premiering at FrightFest London Making Dedication.
The song has been officially licensed for use in “Do You Want to Play,” an independent horror film directed by Nick Lyon. The film will have its World Premiere at Tubi FrightFest 2026 in London on Sunday, August 30th at 3:45 PM at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square, Discovery screen.
For those unfamiliar with a sync license — it’s an agreement that allows a filmmaker to synchronize a piece of music to visual content. Making Dedication will appear in the actual film, whether over a scene, in the background, or during the credits, and will be listed on the film’s official music cue sheet.
The film was also presented at the Cannes 2026 Film Market in May, where global distribution rights were opened to buyers. A wider theatrical or streaming release is expected to be announced once distribution is finalized.
Thank you to the Lostwave community for keeping this song alive. Without your dedication in tracking it down, none of this would have happened.
