I saved the supposedly "genuine" website to my bookmarks and all of a sudden it won't load for me anymore.

In both Edge and Brave browsers.

I guess it is easy for me to say this because I'm not that much into the levels of fan service this game used to provide. I'm more of a "leave more to the imagination" type of guy.

But I think I understand what this game was. I might be wrong here but I guess it is part of that long lineage of adult entertainment like; visual novels, shoot em ups, rpg games, manga and naughty anime.

I wish we still lived in the 80's/90's where adult entertainment was understood as is and was left alone in some dark corner at the video store or the early internet.

Unfortunately times change and these games can't afford to exist in obscurity. So my hope is that the game could re-invent itself and fall in line with the rest.

I don't know if I can name other games here but I see games like... "tempestuous waves" and... "females vanguard 2" and I think the fan service in those games is pretty good. Have you seen the recently announced Summer Skins for the... "gusting waves"?, they look really nice and they don't seem to have any issues.

I think this game can start creating skins that comply with regulation and still keep it's essence. Unless the Chinese Government has some kind of exclusive animosity towards the studio, but if the competition can get away with that kind of fan service I think Snowbreak can work within those boundaries.

As far as I know this game has gone through 3 stages.

1. It released as a somewhat "normal" gacha game, with English VO and all.
2. Then they pivoted to full on fan service and the VA's ran away
3. And finally the Feminists attacked and the game is now censored and butchered

I guess my question is, did the game revert back to "1.0" in regards to tone and fan service?. How bad is it now compared to how the game started before becoming cultured?. What are we comparing it against?.

I don't know, maybe the game is indeed completely destroyed even compared to how it was in the early days.
