MacBook ou Windows

Salut!

Merci!

MacBook vs Windows

Hi! I’m starting the SIM (Sciences, informatique et mathématiques) program at Cégep de Bois-de-Boulogne, and I’m currently deciding between getting a Windows laptop or a MacBook.

For students who have done SIM at BdeB: can the program be completed without issues on a MacBook (Apple Silicon/M-series)?

What programming/software tools do you use during the program (IDE, programming languages, databases, virtual machines, etc.)? Are there any specific programs that only work on Windows or are significantly easier to use on Windows?

I’m mainly interested in knowing whether a MacBook would cause compatibility problems during the program, or if macOS is perfectly fine.
Thanks!

Help me!!!

Hello, I am 17 years old and I currently live in Quebec, Canada. I want to start an AI automation and chatbot business for local companies’ websites.

However, I’m facing a problem that has been stressing me out. Should I have my clients sign contracts?

From what I’ve researched, businesses in this industry typically charge between $300 and $1,300 per month for these services. Because these are recurring monthly payments, I feel that having a contract is quite important to clearly define each party’s responsibilities and avoid misunderstandings.

I see three possible options:

1-I don’t use contracts and simply rely on the fact that most local businesses won’t care whether there’s a contract or not. That way, I won’t have to disclose my age.

2-I use contracts but accept the risk that some clients may hesitate to work with me because I’m only 17 years old.

3-I lie about my age so that clients automatically trust me, and I won’t have to worry about my age becoming an issue.

What do you think? I really don’t want to wait until I’m 18 to start my business, so I need practical advice. Which option do you think is the best, or do you have any other solutions you would recommend?

Help pls

I am 17 years old and I want to sell automated chatbot services for local company websites and I wonder if it is advisable to have my customers sign contracts. It would be more professional and serious, wouldn't it? , because I think they can restrict themselves or have less confidence in me because I'm only 17 years old.

Should I join?

I’m seriously considering joining Freemasonry when I’m older. I’ve always felt that I think differently from the people around me, and by joining this organization, I hope to meet and become friends with people who are similar to me, so we can have meaningful discussions and help me escape, at least a little, from this monotonous life.
But before I do, I want to be sure. No bullshit, and honestly, what has Freemasonry brought to your life, both positively and negatively?
