Like the title asks...y'all noticing exponentially more problems with Amazon cause I sure am. Packages routinely get delivered to the wrong address for me and it takes them forever to acknowledge this/refund and replace for me.

Also...two day or the actual delivery date means nothing in Knoxville anymore. Can't tell you how many times in the last 3 months an item has been out for delivery but mysteriously doesn't show up until 3 days later lol...please tell me I'm not going insane.

Lol I thought the title would be catchy but it's kinda true. I'm on the spectrum (what used to be called aspergers so do with that what you will) and am a diagnosed Gestalt Processor for my language and musical listening. It's complicated...but short story is that A Gestalt language processor (GLP) listens to music as a holistic, sensory experience where the entire soundscape is absorbed as a single unit, rather than a collection of isolated parts like a specific instrument track or individual words.

So for me too much separation and an extremely wide big holographic image actually works against how my brain likes to listen to music. For example, my Astrals push music too far out of my head and it feels dull to me whereas the Orchestra II's do the opposite, they put everything in front of me in a cohesive package that I like.

That being said, I'd love a pair with more slam to them but keeping some of the same BA characteristics of the Orchestra II. I'm open to all suggestions, and I can spend whatever $1000 and under. Thanks for all the recommendations in advance I love you guys so much.

So I've been lurking for awhile and always liked my TWS sets and thought well damn sound can't get better...except in buying higher end tws sets. Fast forward to last month and I got the Noble FoKus Prestige Encore. They were amazing and fantastic. But something kept nagging me...like I was missing out...the cord. Never got into the higher end IEM's because my sensory issues (adhd/very slight autism) I always though the cord would kill me.

Fast forward to last week and I bought my first pair of IEM's (just to try and see...no surely it's not that much better) since the Grado GR10's like in 2010 or something...The KiwiEars Astral. I thought I'd trial it and determine that my FoKus was plenty good and I was dumb and the cord would annoy me and blah blah blah...

Hello, it's 7 days later. I have bought a Khadas Tea Pro because of course I want the best looking modular DAC to power my babies and skirt IOS being dumb. Did I also pick up the Orchestra II's to try out an all BA setup, yeah, they'll be here tomorrow with the Tea Pro.

I say all this to say...thank guys, I just hate you all. Kidding obviously but I am all the way in. Cord, not a problem. Sound...incredible. Astral's blow anything else I've had out of the water. Tips are no issue (Divinus Velvet Wide Bore's in L fit my ear's perfectly I have big ass canals) and here we are. I'm gonna dive deep.

As a single man who's got a white collar job (attorney) and no family to support, I have...money to blow, but I don't think I wanna be stupid and spend 2k on an IEM where diminishing returns come into play.

I need recommendations of IEM's to try (given that amazon has 30 days to return most anything, I need help. I listen to a lot of video game orchestration/movie scores. Broadway musicals and other vocal arrangements (think Longest John's, Voctave, The Persuasions) and a lot of New Orleans Dixieland Jazz and then older stuff like way old 1930's and 1940's recording like Louis Jordan, Cab Calloway, up to Sam Cooke etc. Throw some IEM's you think would be good for that stuff. I have the astral right now and love, but could spend up to 1000 I'm sure. Trying to orchestra II's tomorrow. Open to any gear that would help.

I am going to the World Cup game in Boston against Morocco… For those of you who are also going and possibly staying in the city of Boston and not specifically in Foxboro, what’s your plan to get to and from the stadium? What options have you guys found?

So far, I’ve got the special MBTA train that you can buy that’s like $80 round-trip but you have to have a confirmed ticket to even use that. There’s also a bus service but it doesn’t get down there till like three or 4 o’clock and the game is at six.

What else have you guys found out that seems like a reasonable method to get there and back that’s not going to break the bank… I’m open to all options because I don’t wanna Uber, but I’m also not confident in the metro system of Boston to get me there and back without substantial delays lol
