EGO Z6 with snow blade! Bring on the winter!

Long time lurker first time poster.

I got a used EGO Z6 this year. There have been a couple of posts here and there about how to plow your drive all electrically, but none that featured the Z6. I'm gearing up for the winter and decided to figure out how to get my 22 HP Z6 into the action.

My local Farm and Fleet had an Agri-Fab 60" ZTR snow blade, and combined with some steel struts/square tubes from Lowe's, some bolts from Ace, and two imperceptible holes I drilled in the back corners of the deck of the mower, I was able to get it mounted snugly to the Z6.

This took a lot of trial and error. At one point, I had the entire front of the Z6 taken apart. My model has a circuit board up front that reads from the parking break sensor, so I needed to keep that attached. I gave up on some more ambitious plans and figured out how to get this all to attach without modifying the mower (besides the two holes I drilled).

The instructions for mounting the hitch that came with the snow blade put a lot of torque on the front of the frame, so I'm much happier with my approach as it distributes the torque across much more of the mower's frame. One other point - I deliberately got weaker bolts and struts than I maybe should have. If this system fails, I want the struts and bolts to fail, not the mower!

I tested it by pushing around some dirt. Worked great. Obviously will need some tire chains for the winter, but I'm excited to give this a shot.

Attached are some pictures.
