Why does it take so long to produce shows now, and why are there so few episodes?

Look I've been bitching about this to my friends for a while now, and I just want to know if there is any real good reason behind it. Shows used to have 20+ episodes every year/season. Now, we are lucky to get 10 for most shows. Seasons would come out every year, sometimes twice a year, and a now a lot of shows aren't even coming out with a season every year but more like every 2 (if we are lucky). I mean technologically speaking we are more advanced, so theoretically it seems that it shouldn't take longer than it did previously, in fact you would think it would help produce quicker since things are more advanced.

At home quiz with balls questions help

Hey guys. Just discovered this sub and I thought it would be a great place to get some questions for an at home game we are trying to do. My bestie and I love game shows. Our other friend has a pool that we visit regularly on the weekends, and there are quite a few of us that get together and their teen kids come as well. My bestie and I were watching Quiz with Balls and decided it would make a great little game to play by the pool, with our friend that has the pool being the host and with the kids knowing the answers and standing behind us to push us in the pool if/when we get it wrong. I thought I could print off the questions you guys come up with, and the host can find the answers (or you can give the answer under the question if you want) so that those of us playing don't know what the answers are. Thank you in advance for any questions you guys come up with!
