Snacks in business class
I miss the old snacks. I don't dislike the new ones but wish we could choose. I wonder where they are sold.

Amazing trip!
Just went on train 62 Tuesday to Montreal. There were serious warnings that the train would be significantly delayed due to heat. We took the risk as we had hotel, fireworks dinner cruise, and a tour all booked and no refunds so late in the game. We arrived in Montreal about 5 minutes late only.
Returned today on train 67. Train was 1 minute late returning.
You couldn't ask for better times.
Amazing staff both ways! Amazing weather! We put in over 80,000 steps between arriving Tuesday and departing today!

I wanted black leather for work (I work in a hospital ER in admitting). I could only find the oiled leather. I got a wide because I will always wear with socks at work, sometimes thick socks. I fell in love with the suede ones when shopping so I got a pair of those too in narrow. I chose Taupe but loved several of the colours. They fit amazingly!
I want to know about water proofing. I recently purchased Nubuck and Suede water proof spray by Nikwak for my Blundstone boots. Would that work on the suede ones? I got mink oil for the oiled leather pair. Is there anything else you recommend?
I already had Mayuri and Madrid. This is my first venture into the closed toe clog. I love them!

Vancouver car rentals
Is it ever an issue getting a rental car once the Canadian rolls into Vancouver? It seems there is a Hertz at the station and online it shows it's not open Sundays when our train comes in. We are arriving January 3 but trying to plan out our itinerary now.

Points glitch?
I recently went to Montreal on VIA. I noticed the app said I would get 990 points on completion of the trip. I got 774. When I contacted them they said I got the right amount. I guess it was a glitch but with VIA Rail there is no "The customer is always right". I even sent the screen shot and all they would say is they reiterate I got the right amount of points. They didn't even acknowledge that their system posted the wrong amount. The date and everything is right there with the 990 points I would get. The second photo the very top entry is the May 23 showing that I just got 774.
